Refund Policy
Soundfox is operated by ZeroEnd Technology AB.
This Refund Policy explains when you can cancel, when you can get a refund, and how to request one, for the paid Soundfox plans and refill packs provided by ZeroEnd Technology AB (“ZeroEnd”, “Soundfox”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). It summarises and supplements Sections 10 and 11 of our Terms of Service; if there is any conflict, the Terms of Service prevail.
1. The Free plan
The Free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. You can stop using it at any time.
2. Cancelling a paid plan
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period: you keep access to your paid features until then, and you will not be charged again. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused part of a billing period you have already paid for, except where the law requires it (see Section 3) or where we choose to grant a refund. After cancellation, your account moves to the Free plan, and any refill-pack balance you have remains available and does not expire.
3. Consumers in the EU/EEA: your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, as described in Section 11 of the Terms of Service. Because our paid Services are supplied digitally and start immediately:
- When you buy, you ask us to start providing the Service during the 14-day period and acknowledge the effect on your withdrawal right.
- If you withdraw from a subscription after it has started, you pay only for the part you have used up to the point of withdrawal, in proportion to the full price, and we refund the rest.
- For refill packs (digital content supplied immediately), the right of withdrawal is lost once supply has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgement (see Section 5).
To withdraw, contact us using the details in Section 8 before the 14-day period ends. We will reimburse the amounts due without undue delay, and within 14 days of being informed, to your original payment method.
The Services are not currently offered to residents of the United Kingdom. If and when we make them available in the UK, UK consumers will have the withdrawal rights required by UK law.
4. Subscriptions and renewals
Paid subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. For annual plans, we send a reminder before renewal where required by law. If a renewal charge occurs because you did not cancel in time, it is generally not refundable, except where the law requires (including the withdrawal right above) or where we agree to a goodwill refund. You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals.
5. Refill packs
Refill packs are one-time purchases of additional usage and are digital content supplied immediately: the credits are added to your account right after purchase. Once the credits are added, and especially once you have used any of them, refill packs are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law (for example, if the pack was faulty or not as described, or if a legally required consent was not validly collected). Refill-pack credits do not expire.
6. Faulty or misdescribed Services
Nothing in this Policy limits your statutory rights. If the Services are faulty, not as described, or otherwise do not conform to what we promised, you may be entitled to a remedy (such as a repair, re-performance, price reduction, or refund) under the consumer law that applies to you. Contact us and we will work with you to put it right.
7. Discretionary refunds
Outside the situations above, fees are non-refundable. We may still choose, at our discretion, to grant a refund or credit on a case-by-case basis — for example, for a genuine billing error or duplicate charge. Granting a refund in one case does not oblige us to do so in another.
8. How to request a refund or withdraw
Contact us through our support form at soundfox.ai/support/ticket. Please include the email address on your account, the purchase you are asking about, and the reason for your request. For formal withdrawal notices you may also email legal@soundfox.ai. We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and to resolve them within the time limits set by applicable law.
9. How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are made to your original payment method through our payment processor (Stripe). The time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider. We do not charge a fee for issuing a refund.
10. Changes to this Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Changes do not affect refund or withdrawal rights that have already arisen, and they do not limit your non-waivable statutory rights.
